“The 2019 edition of the DEZEEN awards programme, which celebrates the world's best new architecture, interiors and design, attracted over 4,500 entries from 87 different countries. Moench has been included in the Europe 40under40 Awards 2018/2019 winners’ list: Europe 40 Under 40® is an annual awards program that celebrates the next new talented generation of European architects. The program is directed to support new and emerging design talent that will influence the near future of European architectural design, thinking, and theory with the direct consequence of impacting future environments and future European and international cities. LOS ANGELES: IDA announces winners of 11th annual design awards! Amongst them also Huaxiang Christian Centre receiving a Gold Award in the category Institutional Architecture. “The International Design Awards (IDA) exists to recognize, celebrate and promote legendary design visionaries and to uncover emerging talent in Architecture, Interior, Product, Graphic, and Fashion Design. Shanghai: APDF Asia Pacific Designers Federation announces IAI AWARDS: “IAI Design Award it is one of the influential design awards in China and the Asia Pacific region. INUCE‘s Luoyuan Church” received this year‘s only “special commendation” at the European LEAF AWARDS. The LEAF Forum pointed out that “This innovative design was a much admired favourite of the judging panel, with its exploration of new ideas for the future of religious based architecture, interpreting ideology from the past in a contemporary and artistic style”.

Our design for Fuzhou’s upcoming Jinshan Church was shortlisted in this year’s prestigious WAN AWARDS in London, UK, in the Civic Buildings / Future Projects category. The international jury noted “a mystery and mystique about the building” and emphasized its dramatic use of natural light”.
